Description

The museum offers visitors an interesting insight into the changes in the various electrical appliances and technologies of the last 100 years.

Two active generators and the generator with switchgear from 1927 can be viewed in the power station. Various themed exhibitions in the museum showcase electrical household, communication and entertainment appliances, lighting technology, health and esoteric devices, electrical measuring instruments and installation material as well as models for power generation - including some rarities and curiosities.

The permanent exhibition "Electrification of Liechtenstein" shows the electrification of Liechtenstein from the development of life without electricity, through the electrification of the first factories and industries, the construction of the first power plant to today's electricity procurement and renewable energies. The exhibition offers an impressive journey into the past and shows the enormous development in electricity procurement.

Guided tours for groups are possible all year round from Monday to Saturday by appointment and are usually conducted by members of the association.
