Accessibility Statement
Liechtenstein Marketing strives to make its websites accessible in accordance with the Law on Equal Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities (BGlG), LGBl. 2022 No. 101.
This accessibility statement applies to the following Liechtenstein Marketing websites:
Based on current information, there are currently no mobile applications covered by this statement.
Status of compliance with the requirements
The websites listed above are partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA and with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) in accordance with Directive (EU) 2016/2102.
This assessment is based on an internal self-evaluation and a random review of key page types. A comprehensive technical review of all content, functions, states, and third-party modules has not yet been completed. Therefore, full compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA cannot be confirmed at this time.
A new website is in the works for www.staatsfeiertag.li. The development of the new website is focused on achieving WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance. The launch of the accessible website is scheduled for mid-June 2026.
Content that is not accessible
The content listed below is not fully accessible, or is not yet fully accessible, for the following reasons:
a. Non-compliance with accessibility requirements
We are currently unable to definitively confirm full accessibility for the following sections, content, and features:
- Interactive maps, tour modules, route planners, and graphical analyses, particularly in connection with integrated or linked third-party services.
- Complex booking, search, filter, and form functions, particularly for accommodation searches, newsletter sign-ups, event information, media registrations, or similar input processes.
- Individual images, image galleries, videos, social media embeds, and audiovisual content for which alternative text, captions, audio descriptions, or structured image information have not yet been fully reviewed or added.
- PDF files, downloads, brochures, and older documents that may not be fully tagged, structured, or optimized for screen readers.
- Individual navigation elements, pop-ups, overlays, sliders, or controls for which keyboard accessibility, focus handling, visible focus, name/role/value, or screen reader output have not yet been thoroughly tested for all states.
- Specific variations in color, contrast, and display, particularly for graphic elements, maps, banners, images containing text, or embedded third-party content.
- Content in simple language or sign language is not currently available across the board.
Liechtenstein Marketing is working to improve these areas as part of its ongoing technical, editorial, and design enhancements.
b. Disproportionate burden
At this time, no general exemption based on disproportionate burden is being claimed. If making individual older content, very extensive archive collections, or complex third-party modules accessible would require a disproportionate amount of effort in the short term, these items will be reviewed on a priority basis and, where possible, supplemented with accessible alternatives.
c. The content does not fall within the scope of the applicable laws
The following content may, in whole or in part, fall outside Liechtenstein Marketing’s direct sphere of influence or may not be fully covered by its scope of application:
- Third-party content that is not created, funded, or controlled by Liechtenstein Marketing.
- Embedded content and features from external service providers, such as maps, booking systems, social media content, video platforms, newsletter tools, or similar third-party modules.
- Older archive, download, or media files, unless they are required for ongoing administrative procedures or current services.
If information is needed from non-accessible content, Liechtenstein Marketing will, whenever possible, provide an accessible alternative or customized information.
