Tina Weirather is one of Liechtenstein's best-known personalities and a former world-class ski racer. She has made a name for herself with numerous successes in the World Cup and a bronze medal at the Winter Olympics. Today she shares her personal tips to show you the most beautiful corners and experiences of her home country.

Skiing in Malbun

Idyllic Malbun is just a 25-minute drive from Tina's home and the main town of Vaduz. This makes it possible to start the day relaxed and well-rested and still be the first to race down the freshly snow-covered slopes. The restaurants offer ideal opportunities for refreshments or a cozy evening meal.

Snowshoe tour

Tina Weirather loves discovering the winter landscape away from the slopes - like on a snowshoe tour up the Alpspitz. For experienced snowshoers, this ascent is a real highlight and the perfect complement to training to enjoy the magical winter landscape.

Cross-country skiing in the moonlight

Tina Weirather knows how to end winter evenings on a sporty note: Cross-country skiing under floodlights on the trails in Steg. From 5.00 pm to 9.30 pm, night owls can enjoy the unique atmosphere and do their laps amidst the wintry backdrop.

Fürstensteig TrailDrei Schwestern mountain chain

One of the most impressive hikes in Liechtenstein is the tour along the Fürstensteig Trail and the Drei Schwestern mountain chain. At the summits, you are rewarded with magnificent views of the Rhine Valley. This hike is a very special experience, which Tina also tackles at least once a year.

Culture and coffee

Tina Weirather appreciates the variety on the Museum Mile in Vaduz. Here you can experience modern art, gain insights into the history and culture of the Principality and recharge your batteries in the cozy cafés - all within a few hundred meters.

By bike to Gafadura hut

The Principality of Liechtenstein offers many mountain bike tours that are perfect for endurance training in the warmer months. One of Tina's favorite tours is the one to the Gafadura hutwhich rewards you with a magnificent view after the ascent.

Walking in the nature reserve

The nature reserve Ruggell Wetland invites you to take leisurely walks all year round. After strenuous sports sessions, this is the perfect place for Tina to relax and enjoy nature.
