Description

The Gafadurahütte hut formerly a princely hunting lodge and was converted into an Alpine Club hut. Located in the middle of the Alpine foothills, it is surrounded by forests and pastures. The Gafadura Alp is in the immediate vicinity of the hut.

From the hut, some challenging and extensive hikes can be undertaken, whereby surefootedness - for example from Gafadura to Gaflei - is a prerequisite.

Opening hours

The Gafadurahütte hut from Holy Saturday through Easter Monday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day (weather permitting and provided the road is passable).

The official start of the season is Saturday, April 25, 2026.
