When the Rhine Valley sinks into the fog, a very special natural spectacle is revealed in the heights of Liechtenstein: the sea of fog. Quiet places and sunny views await above the dense cloud cover.
Gnalp
The idyllic hamlet of Gnalp lies at around 1200 m above sea level. Surrounded by gentle hay meadows and traditional stables, this place offers tranquillity and a fantastic view of the fog below.
Rizlina
The parking lot at the former restaurant "Rizlina" offers an impressive view to the south over the Rhine Valley. Especially on foggy days, a fascinating view of the sea of fog opens up here - without the need for a hike, directly from the car.
