Mura Collection

Shelves with traditional tools, wicker bottles and everyday objects
The Mura Collection is one of the largest collections of cultural artefacts in the region and includes objects from all walks of life from 1900 onwards.

Description

Over 40 years ago, the municipality began collecting objects from everyday life, living and working. This resulted in one of the largest collections of cultural objects in the region. In 2006, the collection was transformed into a themed museum under the name MuseumMura. In 2023, it was reoriented and renamed the Mura Collection. The aim is to continue to make the cultural artefacts accessible to the public and to bring the objects to life through new educational focuses.
