A varied program of exhibitions, events and cultural activities awaits you in the gasometer on the site of the former cotton weaving mill.

Description

The Gasometer is the cultural center of the municipality of Triesen. It is located on the site of the former Jenny, Spörry & Cie. cotton weaving mill and was established in 2006. The weaving mill's gasometer tower gave the cultural center its name.

The Gasometer offers a varied program of art exhibitions, themed exhibitions, events and other cultural activities in the fields of visual arts, music, theater, dance and literature.

Today's large exhibition hall used to house the factory locksmith's shop. Other exhibition rooms are housed in the tower, where gas for the factory's lighting was stored around 120 years ago.
