Description

The Liechtenstein PostMuseum was opened in 1936 and houses all Liechtenstein stamps created since 1912, which are world-famous thanks to their high aesthetics and sophisticated techniques. It is located in the Städtle in Vaduz in the so-called Engländerbau and is affiliated to the Liechtenstein NationalMuseum.

The exhibition focuses on the stamps issued by Liechtenstein since 1912. For many of these stamps, the original designs by outstanding artists and designers are also presented. This gives visitors an interesting insight into the creation of a stamp.

Designs, proofs and engraving plates are also on display. Postal history documents and historical postal equipment can also be admired.

Admission is free.
