Guided Route 66 hut tour

Experience the beauty of the Liechtenstein Alps on a guided hut tour along Route 66. This three-day tour takes you along scenic ridge trails, past idyllic alpine meadows, and through romantic valleys. Look forward to breathtaking sunrises, cozy evenings in mountain huts, and the warm hospitality of the region. The package does not include the entire Route 66 to Ruggell, but ends in Planken nevertheless, all the essential highlights of the route are included.

Program:

Day 1:

The first day of hiking begins in Malbun, where your hiking guide will greet you shortly after noon. Together, you will set off on foot to the Sareiserjoch at 2,000 meters. From there, you "Fürstin Gina" Trail along the "Fürstin Gina" Trail to the Augstenberg mountain 2,358 meters. Along the way, your guide will tell you interesting facts about the surrounding area, alpine flowers, and regional wildlife.The route offers impressive views and gives you plenty of time to enjoy the landscape at your leisure. After about four hours, you will reach the Pfälzer hut at 2108 meters, where a warm dinner and a cozy overnight stay await you.

Day 2:

After breakfast at the Pfälzer hut , the next stage Pfälzer hut . Together with your hiking guide, you will hike across Alp Gritsch through Valüna valley idyllic Valüna valley Gänglesee lake Steg. From there, the trail continues uphill towards Gaflei. Along the way, you will enjoy magnificent views of the valley and the mountains. The hike takes about five hours in total. The guide will ensure a comfortable pace and provide you with fascinating insights into the region's nature. In the afternoon, you will reach the Berggasthaus MATU Gaflei, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious regional dinner.

Day 3:

After a hearty breakfast, we continue on from Gaflei. The highlight of the day is the challenging tour along the Fürstensteig Trail the Drei Schwestern mountain chain 2,053 meters. Spectacular views await you. mountain climbing and breathtaking views of the Alps and the Rhine Valley. Your guide will ensure a safe pace and support you on the steeper passages. Shortly before the day's destination, the Gafadura hut at 1,428 meters invites you to take a break. After a total of around five hours, the tour ends in Planken. From there, you can easily take the bus back to Vaduz or Malbun.

The hut tour package includes the following services:
