Discover the trend sport in the popular winter sports resort of Malbun. You can climb up to 20 meters on the ice tower. It offers ideal conditions for both individual climbers and groups.

The ice tower can be used daily in winter from 08.00 to 21.30 (can be used without advance booking).

Drytooling is possible at any time.

The ice climbing team of the Liechtenstein Alpine Association trains on Wednesday evenings (independent climbing is possible to a limited extent).

CHF 10 per person (cash payment or TWINT possible)

The routes are permanently accessible for independent climbers with their own climbing equipment (e.g. rope length 50 m).

  • Ice walls on the tower (winter)
  • Drytooling routes on tower wall (winter)
  • Drytooling routes on the "Dizzy-Wing-Wall" (all year round)
  • Drytooling speed route at the side of the tower (all year round)
  • Helmet compulsory on the ice climbing wall
  • Generally no rental equipment
  • Restrictions possible in early winter at low temperatures due to ice production
  • Lighting switch to the right of the cabin door

Group climbing is possible under the guidance of the Liechtenstein Alpine Association and with their plus equipment.

  • Group size: max. 15 people
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Appointments during the week, rather difficult during the day as the carers are working
  • Basic fee per group CHF 50 plus fees per person
    • for schools CHF 10 per person
    • for clubs and associations CHF 20 per person
    • for companies CHF 30 per person
