Balzers - Triesenberg

The first stage starts at the imposing Gutenberg Castle in Balzers and leads along the Alte Römerstrasse to historic Triesen with the site of the former Jenny, Spörry & Cie cotton weaving mill. Passing the gasometer and the idyllic St. Mamerten chapel, the trail climbs up to the traditional Walser village of Triesenberg - with its magnificent views and living history.
