Weekly Schedule for Summer Vacation 2026

In Liechtenstein, summer is an adventure for the whole family. Discover the Malbun weekly program here, running from July 6 to August 14, 2026.

All events are free of charge, but the number of participants is limited. Please register by 12:00 p.m. the day before at: malbuninfo@liechtenstein.li or +423 239 63 15.

Events generally take place regardless of the weather. Please be sure to wear appropriate clothing.

Llama & Alpaca Trekking

A hike with llamas and alpacas through the idyllic Malbun Alps is an unforgettable family adventure. These good-natured four-legged friends are looking forward to your company. Ages 6 and up (must be accompanied by an adult). Meeting point at Malbun Center

Pony riding on Gnalp

Horseback riding in the forest, petting and grooming ponies, and exploring our mountain landscape. At Gnalp, this dream comes true. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to get up close and personal with these lovable four-legged friends and go on a ride accompanied by knowledgeable instructors. Ages 3 and up (must be accompanied by an adult). Meeting point at Hof Gnalp, Triesenberg

Guided E-Mountain Bike Tour

Join bike guide Niklas to discover the region’s most beautiful spots on a guided e-mountain bike tour! Pfälzerhütte hut tips and tricks on July 13 and August 3; Valorschrunde tour with a stop for refreshments at Alp Valüna on July 20 and August 10. Perfect for anyone who wants to actively enjoy nature while staying safe on the trail. What to bring: e-MTB, gear, snacks, and cash for meals if needed. Ages 14 and up. Meeting point at Malbun Center.

Yoga in nature

What could be more relaxing than yoga in the great outdoors? Surrounded by beautiful scenery and combined with a walk along the hiking trail, it’s the perfect break for both body and mind. For adults. Meet at Malbun Center

Cooking Over an Open Fire

Imagine being out in nature and cooking your own delicious meal over a crackling fire! In this exciting workshop, you’ll learn how to do just that. What to bring: sunscreen, a drink, a plate, a sausage or something similar; if you have them: a pocket knife and a stick (for making bread on a stick). Ages 6 and up. Meet at Malbun Center

Naturalists on Tour

Want to know how squirrels and other animals prepare for winter? Join experienced hiking guide Katharina Link to discover exciting facts about the mountain world. You’ll explore nature in a playful way using all your senses and step into the role of a wild animal. Ages 6 and up. Meeting point at Malbun Center

5:00–7:00 p.m.

Off to the Mountains with the Alphorn

A very special hike awaits you: Together with alphorn expert Elisabeth Beck, we’ll carry the alphorn through the Liechtenstein mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at selected spots to test the alphorn’s impressive acoustics using our own mouthpieces. Our destination is the Pradamee Alp, where we’ll wind down the evening in a cozy atmosphere. Participants are responsible for their own meal costs. Ages 6 and up. Meeting point at Malbun Center.

Dates: July 31.

Participation in all sports, recreational, and children’s activities is at your own risk. Participants and their legal guardians are solely responsible for ensuring that the health and physical requirements for the respective activity are met.

Parents or legal guardians are responsible for supervising their children unless the organizer has expressly stated that supervision will be provided for the activity in question.

You must follow the instructions of the responsible chaperones and supervisors.
