Overview of non-working days and public holidays in Liechtenstein

As a rule, no work is carried out in trade and industry on these public holidays. Exceptions are only permitted with a permit from the Office of Economic Affairs (see ArG). In addition, heavy motor vehicles are prohibited from driving on Sundays on these days (see Art. 89 of the VRV).

* These are not public holidays according to the Labor Act. As a rule, industrial and commercial enterprises do not work on these days either.
