Easy to reach, above the Schlucher-Treff and away from the road, children of all ages will find an opportunity to let off steam according to their interests and abilities.

The play park in Malbun is the ideal preparation for children's first attempts at hiking in alpine terrain. They can practise their first safe steps and coordination of movement on the climbing and balancing facility. The soft wood chip floor is also forgiving of small slips. Stations such as the water and mud course invite children to play freely with streams, pools etc. in the shade of the trees.

For the very little ones, there is a toddler play area and gravel playground with an attached swing set. There are benches and seating stones dotted around the playground. Along the playground is the start of the Malbun Explorer Trail, which takes you to the fire pit by the stream with barbecue facilities and the picnic area at the top end of the site.

This place is suitable for families as well as for kindergarten excursions and school classes to barbecue, eat and relax together. WC facilities are located at the Schlucher-Treff.
