A charming path leads directly from the pedestrian zone up to Vaduz Castle. The "Känzile" viewing terrace offers a magnificent view over Vaduz.

Description

A well-maintained footpath leads through the small town, past the princely vineyards, up to the castle. Along the way, informative boards (D/EN/FR) tell the story of the land and the Princely House. Halfway along the approx. 1 km long path, the small viewing terrace "Känzile" invites you to take a short break and enjoy a spectacular view over Vaduz and far beyond the Rhine.

The path ends on the castle lawn, where the state holiday is celebrated every year on August 15. From here, the stately princely residence appears proud and powerful. The keep, south roundel and hall building rise above the imposing rocky spur at 570 m above sea level.
