Eschen mill

In the mill, you can be fascinated by centuries-old technology and learn interesting facts about the history of the corn mill, its technology and milling.
Description
The former cooperative mill was built in 1778 as a manorial mill. The corn grown in the Unterland (lowlands) is ground here every spring. In addition to the annual "grinding day", various events are held here.
In the eastern part, the historic, fully functional grinding plant can be visited. Events are held in the western part. On the upper floor is the permanent exhibition on the subject of food, which shows tools and objects that were once used both for maize cultivation and for food supply in general.
School classes and groups are also very welcome at Eschen Mill. Guided tours are available by appointment from April 1 to October 31. The mill is closed from November 1 to March 31.
