Description

The starting point of this stage is the Liechtenstein Center in the pedestrian zone in the traffic-free town. The Liechtenstein Trail leads along the Museum Mile with the Liechtenstein Art Museum and the Hilti Art Foundation, the Liechtendstein PostMuseum, the Liechtendstein Treasury and the Liechtendstein NationalMuseum into the government district of Vaduz.

The route continues along lesser-known paths from St. Florin's Cathedral out to the Old Rhine Bridge, along the Rhine and past the football stadium back towards the city center. You pass the winery of the Prince of Liechtenstein and Alt-Vaduz until you reach the Red House. From there you can enjoy a wonderful view of Vaduz Castle.

A narrow and slightly steep path winds its way up to Vaduz Castle. Once at the top, you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Vaduz and the Rhine Valley. After a descent, the shortened stage ends back in the town of Vaduz.
