Nestled against the mountains, the Principality of Liechtenstein is the smallest of the Alpine countries and is located in the 4-country corner near Lake Constance: with an area of 160 km² and around 40,000 inhabitants, it is significantly smaller than its neighboring states. The small, noble hereditary monarchy is characterized by its multifaceted culture, breathtaking nature and delightful diversity.

Vaduz is the capital of the Principality. Explore the center of Vaduz on a short walk and stop by the official tourist office, theLiechtenstein Center,” to get a souvenir stamp as a memento of your stay in the Principality. On a 35-minute ride on the Citytrain know the capital city of Vaduz better and learn interesting facts about the Princely Family, the government, and the Landtag. At the Prince’s Court Winery, you’ll stop for a small tasting of princely wines. During a visit toPrincely cinema,” you’ll get a glimpse behind the doors of Vaduz Castle, which are otherwise closed to the public, while at the Liechtenstein Postal Museum you’ll learn more about the famous Liechtenstein stamps and the European postal system.
