Küefer-Martis-Huus

Description
The building dates back to the 18th century and is one of the rare examples of representative baroque farmhouses in our region. The museum section is located in the renovated and listed residential building. The rooms on the upper floor and attic are primarily reserved for exhibitions on various regional themes. The living room with tiled stove, the old bedchamber and the kitchen with the old wood-burning stove give an impression of the typical living conditions in the region.
The modern "Kulturtenn", which was built to replace the former barn attached directly to the residential building, is available for a wide range of cultural activities: Exhibitions of regional artists, readings, lectures, discussions, but also meetings of local senior citizens or events of regional clubs and associations take place here.
