A new chapter is beginning for the Gorfion Liechtenstein family hotel, nestled amid the picturesque mountains of Malbun. The groundbreaking ceremony on April 24, 2025, marked the start of the largest renovation project in the hotel's history: by December 4, 2026, a place will be created that combines modern architecture with family warmth and alpine comfort—taking family vacations to a whole new level.
All older rooms will be converted or enlarged, additional family suites will be created, the restaurants and the buffet area will be enlarged, the Happy Club and the area for unsupervised play will be expanded, a second swimming pool with outdoor area, toddler area and water slide will be created, the wellness area will be extended, a fitness room will be built directly in the hotel and much more. You can look forward to it!
Four-legged friends are also welcome at Gorfion (however, dogs on the list of potentially dangerous breeds are not permitted ). A fee of CHF 60 per night and dog will be charged (regardless of size).
