Dux Chapel

The Catholic chapel is located on Duxweg in Schaan and was built in 1716, on a site where there was already a small church. The chapel with its three altars is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and has been a listed building since 1951. Two Roman legionary helmets from the 1st century AD were discovered in the immediate vicinity during excavations in 1887 and are now kept in the museums of Bregenz and Zurich.
