What mattered today. A photo essay by Ursula Wolf

Key Visual: What Was Important Today
Key Visual: What Was Important Today
For ten years, the Liechtenstein artist Ursula Wolf drew, day after day, what was reported in the Liechtenstein newspapers.

Description

What began as a drawing exercise soon grew into a large collection of small works of art. They document what moved the artist herself, as well as Liechtenstein and the world, over the course of these ten years. The artist also reflects on the value we attach to events, how fleeting that assessment can be, and how surprisingly enduring seemingly trivial things sometimes remain.

Ursula Wolf presents these drawings at the Liechtenstein National Museum in the form of a walk-through collage: a space that invites visitors to explore, reflect, and often smile.
