JAZZ NIGHT - “BASES” by Willy Haroun
Description
“BASES” is the new project by Spanish pianist Willy Haroun, which will premiere on August 30, 2024, at the opening concert of the 2024/2025 season in the Mozart Hall of the Liederhalle Culture and Congress Center in Stuttgart. Following his classical and jazz training at some of Switzerland’s most prestigious conservatories, Willy Haroun is launching a solo project in which he blends classical music with jazz and improvisation through personal arrangements and compositions inspired by the great masters. His sound, his emotions, his virtuosity, his creativity, and his eclecticism are his personal hallmarks.
Willy Haroun seeks to engage with the music he performs, as well as with the musicians and composers who inspire him, through a highly personal interpretation grounded in a meticulous study of the original texts and their language. His repertoire is characterized by its eclecticism. It encompasses classical music, jazz with Latin American influences, contemporary music, and popular music, as well as his own compositions and improvisations.
He is currently on tour with his new project, "BASES," and regularly gives concerts in Europe.
