Detour to the Principality

Liechtenstein is located in the heart of Europe and is part of several international cycling and hiking routes. From the Rhine Cycle Route to the Via Alpina - the Principality offers great nature experiences in a small area and connects several countries along the way.

Via Alpina

The Via Alpina runs for over 2000 kilometers through eight Alpine countries - from Trieste to Monaco. Three of its 116 stages run through Liechtenstein and offer impressive insights into the alpine landscape of the Principality.

RhineWorlds

From its source to Basel, RheinWelten connects the Rhine with 15 unique adventure worlds. Liechtenstein is also part of this diverse route and offers exciting insights along the majestic Alpine river.

Eurovelo15

As part of the EuroVelo network between the Rhine and the Alps, the Liechtenstein Rhine Valley tour leads through the Principality past castles and palaces.

Kolumbansweg

The 6000 km long European Columban Way leads through nine countries and follows in the footsteps of the Irish monks Columban and Gallus and their companions. One stage of the Swiss section of the cultural trail leads from Feldkirch (AT) right through the Principality to the southernmost municipality of Liechtenstein.
