On the route from Malbun via the Sassförkle through the Valörscher to Steg , you join geologist Daniel Miescher on a search for traces of long-gone marine worlds. The varied landscape reveals impressive remains of undersea volcanoes - relics from the time of the dinosaurs, when the area was covered by the vast Tethys Sea.

- The guided hike takes 5-6 hours and requires a solid basic level of fitness
