Fasnachtsküachle

"Fasnachtsküachle" are crispy-sweet specialties and a must for the fifth season in Liechtenstein.

"Fasnachtsküachle" are as much a part of Fasnacht carnival in Liechtenstein as the colorful costumes and cheerful parades. The crispy, sweet pastries made from fine, golden-brown baked dough are traditionally prepared during the fifth season and taste heavenly.


Ingredients:

25 g Butter
300 g Flour
1 Egg
3-4 tbsp. Cream
1 pinch Salt
To taste Powdered sugar


Preparation:

Knead a soft dough from the flour, egg, cream and salt until it bubbles.

Roll out the dough thinly, shape into round pieces and continue to roll out into rounds.

Fry in hot fat until golden brown.

Then sprinkle with powdered sugar.
