World field Gamprin-Bendern
The world field in Gamprin-Bendern shows the basics of our nutrition using the limited resource "soil".
Description
Our supermarket shelves convey a seemingly unlimited availability of food. But where does our food grow and where is it produced?
How much land and labor is required?
World arable land
Every person in the world has 2000 m² of arable land at their disposal. In Liechtenstein, however, only 400 m² are available per person. This in turn corresponds to only 10% of the area required to feed this person.
