Directly below the start of the Fürstensteig Trail , the chalet is ideally located for hikes in the Drei Schwestern mountain chain . Popular tours to Bargella, Silum and Sücka as well as tours in the Samina and Valüna valley can be started directly from the chalet.
Access is guaranteed in summer to the house and in winter to the nearby Matu bus stop (3 minutes on foot) or to the public parking lot in Gaflei (10 minutes on foot). A supermarket can be reached within 15 minutes by car.
