Daniel Risch, former head of government, and Andreas Peichl, ifo Center for Macroeconomics and Surveys, Munich, discuss current economic and geopolitical perspectives.

Description

Dr. Daniel Risch, former head of government, and Prof. Dr. Andreas Peichl, head of the ifo Center for Macroeconomics and Surveys and professor of economics (macroeconomics and public finance) at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, discuss current economic and geopolitical perspectives.

The evening will begin with presentations by the two speakers. Andreas Peichl will highlight the most pressing economic challenges. He will address the structural problems of developed economies, in particular the increasingly acute demographic challenges that are placing a considerable strain on social security systems. He will also discuss the economic implications of current geopolitical developments. Daniel Risch will contribute his experiences and perspectives as Liechtenstein's head of government and beyond. His term in office coincided with a period of profound economic and geopolitical upheaval, which confronted Liechtenstein with unprecedented dynamics.

The second part of the evening event will take the form of a discussion, with the aim of comparing and contrasting the two perspectives.

Participation is free of charge, and all interested parties are warmly invited to attend! Afterwards, those present are invited to a small reception.
