slowUp Werdenberg-Liechtenstein
On May 3, 2026, the slowUp Werdenberg–Liechtenstein invites you to a car-free day of activities along the Rhine, featuring exercise and a varied program.
Description
On Sunday, May 3, 2026, the region between Sennwald and Wartau, as well as Vaduz and Ruggell, will be dedicated entirely to non-motorized transportation. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., a roughly 44-kilometer route along the Rhine will be open to cyclists, walkers, and inline skaters.
The route runs along both sides of the Rhine: in Liechtenstein, it passes by the foot of the Prince’s Castle; on the Swiss side, it winds through the Werdenberg region with its historic towns and medieval castle. In between lie villages and a varied spring landscape.
Along the route, around 15 festival sites invite you to stop. Local clubs and associations partners offer a diverse program featuring food and entertainment.
