Online lecture: Dad is here - tips for expectant fathers

Dad with child
Becoming a father is not difficult, but being a father is, as the saying goes. We know that: Both are demanding. In this online lecture, we support you in your role as a father and partner.

Description

Both becoming a father and being a father are challenging - on several levels. It involves coming to terms with your job, your relationship and yourself. We are happy to support you with input on the role of the father, birth, shaping the relationship and establishing contact between father and child so that you can face these challenges more calmly and optimistically. Of course, there is also time for individual questions, which we will try to clarify together. The main focus is on the exchange of ideas in the respective men's group.

Philip Geiger will lead through the evening and will not only report from a professional perspective, but will also share his very personal experiences as a father of two. Philip is a trained sex educator and museum educator and works as a job manager at love.li.

During the talk you will receive useful information and tips on the following topics. We will be happy to answer any further questions afterwards.
- How to prepare yourself for the birth and the time afterwards.
- How you can support your partner during pregnancy and birth.
- What you can do as a father with your baby or child.
- Why being present is always a benefit.
- What you are entitled to at work.
- What helps when everything becomes too much.

The online lecture and subsequent Q&A session will last approx. 1.5 hours. The lecture is free of charge and will be held via Zoom. You will receive the corresponding link after your registration. We look forward to your participation.
