Gutenberg Castle Medieval Days

During the Medieval Days at Gutenberg Castle in Balzers, visitors can experience living history at the original location. Groups that bring the everyday life of the Middle Ages back to life invite young and old to take part in a wide range of activities and hands-on offers. Various craftspeople and activities such as archery invite you to try them out. The juggler duo Forzarello will amaze visitors and the Medieval Spiellüt will play music from the period. A falconer and his noble animals will show what role birds of prey played in the Middle Ages, while Liechtenstein Archaeology will be holding an exhibition on the history of the important Gutenberg site. In addition, the new children's book "Heinrich der Greifenritter", written by Andreas Hollenstein and illustrated by Adam Vogt, will celebrate its vernissage. The book is based on the minstrel and castle owner Heinrich von Frauenberg.
