The Sex Pistols' first single, Anarchy in the U.K., did not fail to make an impact. English radio stations refused to broadcast it because the provocative lyrics should not be heard. But the near-ban only accelerated the punk band's popularity. At this point, the Sex Pistols had been around for three years, their new driving rock had long since spread and set off the punk wave. With their second single, the Sex Pistols attacked the mother of England with their version of God Save the Queen.

Music director legend Julien Temple, a friend of the Sex Pistols since 1976, reveals the truth about the most important punk band in the world. In his breathtaking documentary, the musicians themselves finally have their say. Temple has meticulously compiled countless original recordings and thus revived the birth of British punk: Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.
