Alba Armengou

Alba Armengou, singer and trumpeter of the world-famous Sant Andreu Jazz Band from Barcelona, is an exceptional talent! At the age of seven, the highly talented soloist Alba Armengou became part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band, which she belonged to for 13 years. During this time, she deepened her understanding of the world of jazz and was able to develop her outstanding talent both as a trumpeter and as a gifted singer. At the age of just 21, Armengou had already contributed to more than 30 albums. In 2020, she started her own project with guitarist Vicente López and released her first solo album "Susurros del Viento". In this album, Alba Armengou combines all the musical styles that have accompanied her on her journey. The strong Latin American and Brazilian musical influences are formative. On stage, she impresses in a trio or as a sextet with an exciting musical journey and her inner universe of sound. She draws inspiration from boleros, the Catalan cançó, bossa nova, Latin and jazz. Alba Armengou sings with her captivating voice in four languages: Catalan, Spanish, English and Portuguese.
