ADAM VOGT. Drawings for the book by A. Hollenstein "Heinrich der Greifenritter"

Description
The captivating adventure "Heinrich der Greifenritter" by Andreas Hollenstein with illustrations by Adam Vogt was recently published as a large picture book by Baeschlin Verlag.
The story is about the young knight Heinrich, who prefers making music to fighting - until the dreaded lindworm Rhenus threatens his village. In search of a solution, Heinrich travels through the countryside as a minstrel and experiences an extraordinary adventure.
The character of the young knight Heinrich is inspired by Baron Heinrich von Frauenberg, the first known owner of Gutenberg Castle, who lived there around 700 years ago, as well as by the Balzner legends.
To accompany the publication of the book, the Alte Pfarrhof is showing over 50 original drawings as well as sketches and designs by illustrator Adam Vogt, which transport both children and adults into the world of the Middle Ages and inspire them with their richness of detail.
The exhibition also provides exciting insights into the creative process of creating the pictures - directly from the illustrator's studio.
Adam Vogt (*1992) grew up between the south of France, Piedmont in Italy and Liechtenstein. He later turned his passion for pictures and stories into a profession. After completing the preliminary course in design at the Liechtenstein School of Art, he studied visual art/comics at the EPAC in Valais. Since then, he has worked as a freelance illustrator and comic author in Vaduz and as a lecturer at the Liechtenstein School of Art.
Andreas Hollenstein (*1977) is a secondary school teacher and has been a guide at Gutenberg Castle in the municipality of Balzers, where he lives with his wife and three children, for 15 years. In his free time, the amateur historian enjoys rummaging through archives or exploring castles and ruins in the region with his children.
