It was in the Liechtenstein ski resort of Malbun that Marco Büchel laid the foundations for his career as a ski racer. National holiday
August 15 is a highlight of the year for Büxi: "It's a day when the whole country comes together – whether at the official state ceremony or the folk festival in the town of Vaduz. One of the highlights for me is the traditional torchlight procession along the Fürstensteig trail. The evening hike with all the lights and the sense of community that develops is an unforgettable experience."
