General information on the Adventure Passes
The WELCOME Adventure Pass is Liechtenstein's official guest card and is issued free of charge to overnight guests (from just one overnight stay). With the pass, public transport in Liechtenstein can be used free of charge. There is also a 20% discount on selected experiences.
The ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass can be purchased for one, two or three days and can be bought and used by both overnight and day guests. In addition to free use of public transport, guests benefit from around 20 experiences at no extra charge as well as additional attractive discounts. The ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass can be purchased either digitally on the website or at the Liechtenstein Center in Vaduz.
To redeem a service, guests show their ticket with the QR code - either with the WELCOME app (only for the WELCOME Adventure Pass), as a MobileCard on their smartphone, as a digital ticket in their Wallet or as a printed Print@Home ticket. Users of both the WELCOME Adventure Pass and the ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass will receive an email with the relevant ticket options beforehand.
The offers can only be redeemed once during the duration of the stay (with the WELCOME Adventure Pass) or during the period of the booked days (with the ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass). The use of public transport is guaranteed for the entire duration of the pass.
Some service providers scan the services using a scanning device or a web application where they can store the card number. Other service providers only work with a visual check by checking the date and, if necessary, the name.

WELCOME Adventure Pass
Public transport is included free of charge for the duration of your stay and on arrival. The following additional services are available with a 20% discount: TreasureChamber, PostMuseum (free anyway), NationalMuseum, Citytrain, cable car rides, Liechtenstein Art Museum, "Princely Moments" at the Old Cinema, Walser Museum and falconry.
It is valid for the entire duration of the guest's stay and is already valid on the day of arrival.
If the host has the guest's e-mail address, the guest will receive an e-mail three days before arrival with instructions to activate the digital guest card in the WELCOME app.
We recommend that guests activate their LIEmobil before they arrive so that they can take advantage of the free travel within the LIEmobil network from the first day of their trip.
If the guest does not activate the card, they will receive another e-mail on the night of their arrival. This contains the WELCOME Adventure Pass as a Wallet file and as a MobileCard for the smartphone as well as a version for printing (Print@Home).
The guest card can therefore be either:
- Retrieved in the WELCOME app (recommended)
- loaded into the Wallet,
- used as a MobileCard on the cell phone,
- or printed out as a PDF (Print@Home ticket)
The QR code (i.e. the digital guest card) can be retrieved in the new WELCOME app - this can simply be shown by the guest when redeeming the discounted services.
The app also provides a good overview of all the benefits, sights and attractions in Liechtenstein. Experiences can be planned individually, favorites can be saved and guests can find out about the current weather, nearby restaurants and much more.

This is how you enter e-mail addresses that your guests can use:
- Log in to the extranet.
- Click on Accommodation and then on Communication preference
- Click on Security settings
- Complete the two-factor authentication.
- Click on Add e-mail address and enter either an e-mail address (e.g. beispiel@beispiel.com) or an e-mail domain (e.g. @example.com).
- To add more e-mail addresses or domains, click on +.
- Click on Add e-mail address.
The host must contact these guests directly (ideally a few days before arrival) and request their details.
An e-mail address is required to issue the WELCOME Adventure Pass. In cases where the booking is made via a third party or a platform without the guest's direct e-mail address, the following options are available:
- Request e-mail address from third party: If a third party is booking for another person or someone is booking for several people, you can ask them to provide the relevant e-mail address(es) so that the WELCOME Adventure Pass can be issued before the information is provided.
- Enter your e-mail address on site: If the e-mail address was not already entered when booking, it can be requested and added at check-in on site. The guest will then receive their digital guest card directly by e-mail. (However, only as soon as they have arrived).
- Print@Home for guests without an e-mail address: If a guest does not wish to provide an e-mail address, the host can send the WELCOME Adventure Pass to their own e-mail address when the guest arrives and then print out the Print@Home ticket and hand it to the guest. In this way, the guest cannot receive a digitalized card, but can have the discounts scanned in exactly the same way with the Print@Home ticket.
- Communicate the advantage of direct booking: To enable guests to use the WELCOME Adventure Pass on arrival, we recommend that wherever possible, accommodation providers actively encourage their guests to book directly through the accommodation and not via a separate platform. This way, the digital guest card can be issued before arrival.
Technically speaking, the invitation to the WELCOME app is sent automatically from the app and the e-mail with the other options such as MobileCard, Wallet and Print@Home from feratel Deskline. However, it shows the guest's booked accommodation as the sender.
Basis for the automatic issuance and authorization for the WELCOME Adventure Pass is the digital guest registration form in the feratel system.
Some hotels already work with a PMS system, which has an existing interface to ferate . The guest card is then automatically issued in the background and before arrival of the guest.
If a host does not have an existing interface, the host must ensure that after booking a pre--check-in form is sent to the guest. The guest must fill in their details and confirm that they would like a guest card. Only then will the guest card be sent.
If the guest does not respond to the web form or it is not sent by the hotelier, it is possible to issue the guest card on site upon the guest's arrival.
- Ideally, enter the guest data into the system as early as possible. This way, the WELCOME Adventure Pass can be created in good time before arrival - your guest benefits from free use of LIEmobil public transport on arrival.
- If you do not yet have all the details of your fellow travelers, use the pre-check-in form. This ensures that not only the person who has booked the stay, but also all fellow travelers receive the WELCOME Adventure Pass.
- Ask the guest briefly at check-in whether they already have a WELCOME Adventure Pass. If not (because their details were not known beforehand), you can trigger this for your guests directly on site in the system and either send it by email or print it out.
The guest card will be adjusted or deactivated with the cancellation or a change to the booking data. As soon as a guest uses an already received QR code for a service, the card would be rejected by the device and the card would be displayed as invalid when being scanned.
The guest card will then also be automatically extended. Nothing special needs to be done.
ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass
Free bus travel on LIEmobil buses throughout the country, over 30 offers such as cable cars, museums, indoor swimming pools, Citytrain and many more free or discounted. In total, there are discounts worth over CHF 300.
The pass can be purchased online at Adventure Pass.li and paid for by credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Immediately after booking, the guest automatically receives a confirmation by e-mail. The ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass can either be loaded into the Wallet, used as a MobileCard on a smartphone or printed out as a Print@Home ticket (PDF).

It is free for children up to the age of 6 and they can use the Adventure Pass with their parents.
Yes, the first day of use is specified at the time of purchase and the subsequent days must be consecutive for a two- or three-day pass.
It can be redeemed until the end of 2025. After that, new Adventure Passes will be sold, which will again be valid for one year.
Adventure Passes that have already been purchased are still valid throughout 2025 and will be visually checked. In this case, multi-day passes may still be used on different days of the year. The fact that passes with a duration of two or three days must be used on subsequent days only applies to newly issued passes.
For each ALL INCLUSIVE Adventure Pass issued, an individual code is printed on the booking confirmation, which can be redeemed for the LIEbikes in the corresponding LIEmobil app.
